Live from Behind the Scenes: Sharks at Shedd (Grades K-8)
Get up close and personal with some of our most popular Wild Reef residents: sharks! During this virtual field trip, witness how Shedd staff members feed these animals, design an identification tag for different shark species and even calculate how much food our sandbar sharks eat! Explore the Wild Reef habitat from behind the scenes and inside the shark habitat during this exciting program. Pre- and post-trip asynchronous lessons are also provided.

Live from Behind the Scenes: Penguins at Shedd (Grades K-8)
Shedd Aquarium is a long way from the chilly waters of the Southern Hemisphere. So how does Shedd provide a habitat for Magellanic and rockhopper penguins that meets their specific needs? Join us inside the penguin habitat to observe these animals up close and learn some of the surprising ways in which Shedd staffers care for these charismatic birds. Pre- and post-trip asynchronous lessons are also provided.

Live from Behind the Scenes: Amazon Animals (Grades K-5)
Explore the diverse habitats of the Amazon Rainforest from the comfort of your classroom! During this synchronous virtual field trip, observe fish, frogs, snakes, birds, turtles, rays and more. Your students will have the chance to create and test an enrichment object for an animal! Led by a Shedd educator, this is a great way for kids to ask questions, engage with animals and expand their knowledge of our blue planet. Pre- and post-trip asynchronous lessons are also provided.
